Due to numerous testing questions, we decided to post instructions on how to test if your iNum number is working from different networks around the world.
Also, the most testing and feedback we get and send to the carriers, the sooner those carriers will add iNum support.
Wireless subscribers from a growing number of carriers – including Vodafone, T-Mobile, Orange, Virgin, and Boost Mobile – now are able to text these numbers.
The service is already available in the United Kingdom, France and the United States, at prices ranging from 10 to 20 pence per message in the U.K., for example. We are working on expanding the reachability from more wireless carriers in more countries.
We need your help in verifying reachability from as many wireless carriers as possible. In whatever country you are please try sending an SMS to our test number +883 510 000 000 094 and let us know how it goes.
In order to verify whether an SMS was successfully received by our test number (+883 510 000 000 094), please include your email address in the content of the SMS message. If it fails, try sending it to 011 883 510 000 000 094.
If the test was successful you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email after sending your test SMS it means that we did not receive your SMS message.
Please spread the word, and please contact your wireless carrier if the test fails and ask they implement the relatively new +883 country code.
The more people try to send SMS messages from their wireless carrier, and the more people complain to their wireless carrier when it does not work, the faster the their support will take action and reachability around the world will increase.
Thank you !
