March 26, 2009 Callcentric enhances service with iNum support
Callcentric just announced several enhancements to their service, including the support for iNum.
You can now obtain a free iNum number and call all iNum numbers for free through Callcentric.
To get your free iNum number, go to http://www.callcentric.com/coverage/international_phone_number and select ‘iNum’ in the list of countries.

The number given is in +883510001125xxx format, dialling that number is not possible from a voip provider and my cell phone number. Where the problem can be?

You can call your iNum from any VoIP provider that is an iNum partner ( see http://www.inum.net/what-is-inum/inum-partners/ ). Check the specific provider for dialing instructions.
Currently you can’t just dial the 883 CC as no carriers are routing it (yet). You can dial it using a two step process using an access number. Find the best one for you at the above link.

Inum numbers, works like that
First you have a number that is like a country code, and here we will have 883 (sometimes you will need to add +)
Them you have a code that suppose to be like the code of your city and this numeber is:
51000X and the the number of the provider.
Voxalot the X=4
Gizmo5 the X=7
and in your case - Callcentric - I do not know.
Just call them and ask.

@Lucho
iNum is still a service in development, as not yet reachable from ‘traditional’ non-voip networks. The list of networks that you can use to reach an iNum number is maintained on the page http://www.inum.net/what-is-inum/inum-partners
